SKIN CARE PURCHASES AND REPURCHASES | LA ROCHE-POSAY, SUPER FACIALIST & LUSH

Yesterday I decided that I needed to try new skin care products, at the moment I seem to be going round in circles with my skin, as soon as I get it clear something else appears! What I'm doing seems to work at the time but doesn't prevent further breakouts, maybe its me focusing to much on my problem areas but I don't know, I thought I would try new products nonetheless.
My repurchased product is the super facialist by Una Brennan Tea Flower Deep Clean Mattifying Moisturiser and my 2 never used before purchases are the Lush Tea Tree Water Toner Water and the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo [+]

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo [+] 40ml - £11.62 Introductory offer, usual price £15.50

This product states that it's for imperfection-prone skin, clogged pores and excess sebum. This statement basically explains my skin in a few words. The products aim is to correct the appearance of imperfections, even skin texture and unclog those pesky blocked pores. It also boasts that it has an exclusive anti-marks active ingredient which is mainly what caught my eye as I'm constantly marked for weeks after a blemish. The active ingredient is meant to help reduce the appearance of the red and brown marks which appear at the tail end of a blemish. I really do have my fingers crossed with this product as I've suffered for so long with marked skin. The product itself is a fresh gel cream which provides 24 hour hydration with a lasting mattifying effect, its non sticky and non oily making it perfect to use as a make up base if you wish.
The best results are seen after 4 weeks of use so I'll be writing a review of my thoughts on this product in a months time, I began to use this product this morning and I can back up that the product isn't oily or sticky so for those with combination skin like me its looking hopeful id say!

Una Brennan Tea Flower Deep Clean Mattifying Moisturiser 75ml - £12.99

This is my repurchased product as it is now my go to moisturiser, this particular moisturiser is aimed at skin prone to oiliness and breakouts. My favourite thing about this product is that it contains salicylic acid and an anti sebum complex which help to mattify the skin and again reduces the appearance of pores aiming to leave the skin clearer and healthier looking. This product has worked so well for me so as my other tube was drawing to an end I had to make sure I had another one as my skin goes crazy without moisturisers. I just find that it really hydrates my skin and leaves it feeling soft without the dewy/oily look so for me its perfect, I highly recommend for combination skin.

Lush Tea Tree Water Toner Water 250g - £7.50

The reason I purchased this was because it had read so many good reviews, and what I saw most in the reviews was that people felt that their skin had cleared up so much whilst using this product, so I thought I may as well give it a go. The product is aimed at oily or spot prone skin (You may have noticed by now that all my products follow the same pattern). Again I just started to use the toner this morning so when I feel I've used it for a sufficient amount of time there will be a review of my experience with this product, I do have high hopes for this as its worked for some many other people so I'm hoping it will work for me, but only time will tell!

Do you have these products yourself? If so how have they worked for you?

Lots of Loves

  1. Have you ever tried any Tea Tree products from The Body Shop? They're amazing and as I have oily skin they reduce my oil levels so much! My skin is so clear! If you don't already know I'm currently holding a giveaway on my blog, it's not much but it'd be great if you could enter :)
